With a busy week of pre-season games ahead, the Sudbury Wolves have pared their training camp roster down to 31 players: three goaltenders, 11 defensemen and 17 forwards.
Head coach Scott Barney and company will be selecting individuals from that group to fill the lineup this week as the local OHLers make visits to King City (Monday August 31st vs Barrie Colts), Timmins (Wednesday September 2nd vs Rouyn-Noranda Huskies), Sault Ste Marie (Friday September 4th vs Soo Greyhounds) and North Bay (Sunday September 6th vs North Bay Battalion).
The Wolves will offer local fans the next chance to see their 2026-2027 edition come Friday September 11th as the Greyhounds make the trek east along Highway 17.
Following is the list of players still in camp:
Goaltenders: Paolo Frasca, Owen Leonard, Bjorn Bronas
Defensemen: Finn Kearns, Alex Dvorak, Cole Wreggitt, Shayden Hintenberger, Hudson Martin, Liam Ladds, Ivan Belikov, Brady Smith, Artem Gonchar, Genc Ula, Luca Blonda
Forwards: Brayden Bennett, Ethan Dean, Blake Clayton, Ronan Quinn, Norman Greene, Colton Colby, Jan Chovan, Kingston Harris, Jean-Christoph Lemieux, Adam Nemec, Kash Kwajah, Rowan Henderson, Mason Walker, Patrik Ula, Hudson Chitaroni, Parker Smith, Vladimir Provorov
Of that group of 31, only Paolo Frasca and Artem Gonchar qualify as overage talent for the upcoming season (born in 2006).
