Qualifying for the Ontario Age Group Championships is one of those standards to be crested that young swimmers consider to be something of a milestone.

With that in mind, one cannot blame the folks with the Nickel City Aquatics being excited and proud that four of their athletes who represented the club recently at the Pan American Games legacy venues in the GTA are part of the up and coming 12 and under cohort at NCA.

Sophie Stott (12), Liam Ethelston (11), Noah Snider (12) and Charlie Richardson (12) all made their very first appearances at Age Groups earlier this month, with the entire quartet laying down a new set of personal best times across the board at the long-course meet.

NCA was also represented by club veteran and standout James Mongeon, who swam to top ten finishes in both the 50m backstroke and 100m backstroke in the Open Men's division, posting personal best times in the process.

Members of the Nickel City Aquatics now have their sights set on the RHAC (Richmond Hill Aquatics Club) Spring Invitational taking place at TPASC on the weekend of April 10th to the 12th.
