The 2026 Junior Boys All-Star Game was touted as a basketball showcase - and showcase their skills the young lads most certainly did as Team Dark downed Team White 80-74.

With virtually every single player on hand getting into the scoring parade, the winning side were led by Game MVP Bertrand Selougou from Macdonald-Cartier (19 pts), with Team Dark coaches' award recipient Will Laporte-Alexander (St Charles College) right on his heels with 17.

Also reaching double digits were Al-Amin Adeoti (Lasalle - 15) and Carter Larochelle (Hanmer - 10), with Seamus Murphy adding seven points of his own.

Angelo Kalonji (Notre-Dame) hooped a game high 22 points, earning the Team White coaches' award, with CND teammate Thomas Deredin chipping in with 11 points and no less than eight other players bunched between three and six points.

The game remained close throughout as Dark led 21-17 after a quarter of play and 42-37 at the half. Team White flipped the script with a 23-16 run in quarter three but Dark countered, largely thanks to the offensive outbursts from Selougou, Laporte-Alexander, Larochelle and Adeoti, the quartet handling all of the team's scoring in the final eight minutes of play.

Rounding out the rosters for both teams were:

Team Dark: Moshood Adeleye (STB), Ayomiposi Ogunsona (STB), Leland Daviau (Hanmer), Maxim Belzile (ESMC), Dean Vildis (Lively), Liam Roberts (BAC) and head coach Ronald Poulin (ESMC)

Team White: Samuel Niyonkuru (CND), Richard Owolabi (SCC), Felix Naghi (LEP), Levi Blouin (LEP), Kamron Tessier (Horizon), Ethan Gallagher (Horizon), Nathan Estriplet (Sacré-Coeur), Xander Duncan (SSS), Zander Charlebois (Confederation) and head coach Martin Nadeau (CND)
