For the second straight year, the Sudbury U15AA Lady Wolves have emerged as finalists in the Brass Division of the Stoney Creek Showcase, posting a record of 4-2-0 at the well-attended early season tournament.

The returning trio of Kloe Rienguette (goaltender) and forwards Alyssa Bryant and Daviy Dale were front and centre of the action all weekend long for the Lady Wolves.

Sudbury opened play with a 1-0 win over the Connecticut Jr Rangers, a tally from Aleah Restoule providing all of the help that Kloe Rienguette would need in posting the first of two consecutive shutouts.

Another close affair in game two as the Lady Wolves trimmed the Sarnia Lady Sting 3-2 behind goals from Daviy Dale, Alyssa Bryant and Alexie Miller.

Rienguette again would keep an American-based squad off the board in game three as Sudbury stopped Biggby Coffee (Ann Arbour, Michigan) 2-0, with Bryant and Restoule finding the back of the net for the locals.

A 5-1 loss in their final preliminary game to the Peterborough Ice Kats (Alexie Miller with the goal) only served to motivate the northern Ontario entry in the playoff as the Lady Wolves edged the Kitchener Lady Rangers 2-1 in a shootout.

Daviy Dale tallied on the power play in regulation time and was joined by teammate Aleah Restoule in the shutout as Rienguette turned aside both Kitchener shooters, helping propel her team to the Brass final.

The Lady Wolves came up just short, dropping a 3-2 decision to the Toronto-Leaside Wildcats with Emily Bedard and Camie Culbert handling the offense for Sudbury.

The balance of the 2025-2026 roster includes Julia D'Angelo, Grace Demers, Brooklyn Harris, Reese Morris, Kayleigh Crew, Brooklyn Mininni, Quinn Houle, Emma Plante, Zoe Gatien and Ava Wicklander.
