Not every single meet is going to produce a slew of OUA qualifiers for the Laurentian Voyageurs indoor track & field team - especially if you are competing at events slated more or less seven days apart for a stretch of three to four weeks.

No, the most positive takeaway from the recent 52nd Annual York University Open likely lies in the fact that Laurentian fielded a pair of relay teams on the men's side - and also managed to mix in a number of top ten performances with provincials just around the corner.

The 4 X 800m foursome of Patrick Leroux, Keegan Lockley, Owen Roney and Travis Annett finished 2nd with a time of 9:03.00 while the L.U. sprinters (Joshua Kim, Brandon Radey, Skyler Savage-Perreault and Tristan Routhier placed sixth in the 4 X 200m event (1:35.50).

Other key highlights included a PB performance from veteran Angela Mozzon in the 3000m (10:47.00 - 4th), with the bar raised as well for cross-country teammate Cameron Date (9:23.80 - 7th) at the same distance while jumper Shelley Hladin continues to excel in both the long jump (6th - 5.35m) and the triple jump (8th - 11.20m).

Rounding out the results for the remaining team members were:

Women's Team
Kristen Mrozewski - 300m - 19th - 44.35
Naomi Palmer - 300m - 28th - 47.20
Jessy Trottier - 300m - 35th - 51.47
Sarah Booth - 600m - 9th - 1:41.923
Claire School - 1500m - 12th - 5:07.62
Angela Mozzon - 1500m - 14th - 5:12.79

Men's Teams
