Sudbury ski success paves the way to OFSAA

SDSSAA nordic ski is in a very good spot.

Capturing three of the four divisions at the NOSSA races last week and an astounding 11 of the top 12 podium placements, local athletes clearly enjoyed a very pleasant ride back from North Bay as the prepare for the 2023 OFSAA Nordic Ski Championships in Lakefield running today through until Friday.

Rounding out their nordic ski double-double with victories at both the SDSSAA and NOSSA meets were Callum Wiss (LOE - JB), Lauren Pineau (Lockerby - SG) and Kaeden Ward (LOE - SB), with Kate DeBeer from Superior Heights breaking through in the junior girls division.
