With remaining qualifiers and provincial championships now cancelled, members of the Jungle Gym women's artistic gymnastics team will have to hold tight to their memories of their most recent competition in Midland at the end of February - and that is not a bad thing at all.

Sending 17 athletes to the Gymfinity Challenge Qualifier, the local club produced an astounding dozen top three finishes, highlighted, in part, by a gold medal aggregate performance from Kiana Lampinen (Level 4 - 13 yrs), who took top spot in three of the four events and now ranks third in the province in her grouping.

Joining Lampinen with first place finishes in the overall aggregate were Milena Kulik (Level 3 - 12-14 yrs - C), Ella O'Shaughnessy (Level 3 - 12-14 yrs -B), Avery Hoffard (Level 3 - 12-14 yrs - A), Solene Delparte (Level 2 - 9 yrs) and Lea Berardi (Level 4 - 12 yrs - B).

Earning silver medals, in a similar manner, were Caileigh Ryan (Level 4 - 12 yrs - B) and Serena Studinski (Level 3 - 12-14 yrs - A), while Addison Montgomery (Level 3 - 12-14 yrs - A), Vienna Corsi (Level 3 - 10 yrs - B), Jorja Lefebvre (Level 3 - 12-14 yrs - B), Camille Landry (Level 2 - 9 yrs) and Kiersten Anderson (Level 2 - 11-12 yrs) all earned bronze.

Karlee Caruso (Level 2 - 11-2 yrs) was one spot back in fourth, with an event best silver medal performance on the balance beam, with Abby Ross (Level 4 - 12 yrs - B - silver in balance beam) and McLaren Gieselman (Level 2 - 9 yrs) both settling into fifth place.

Violet Boisvenue (Level 2 - 9 yrs) would register her top scores on the balance beam (9.300) and the vault (9.000), finishing just a hair back of both McLaren Gieselman and Alexis Sutherland (Georgian Bay Phoenix Gymnastics).
