As expected, the Sudbury Wolves have confirmed the commitment of first round pick Caden Taylor.
The 6'2" (174 lbs) forward from Shanty Bay recently signed a standard player agreement with the club following his selection in the ninth slot of the 2023 OHL Priority Selection Draft.
Taylor amassed 121 points in just 60 games last year with the Mississauga Senators (58G - 63A), adding yet another impressive offensive weapon to the arsenal of a 2023-2024 Wolves' team that should have no issue putting pucks in the back of the net.
"I would like to thank my past coaches (Dan Sisca, Lucky DeGrazia, Stephon Thorne) for believing in me and taking the time to help me get to where I am today," said Taylor in a team issued release.
"Most importantly, I would like to thank my parents for their love and support. They have always been there for me, and I can’t thank them enough.”
Taylor joins a Wolves team that already features Seattle Krakken prospect David Goyette, highly ranked 2023 NHL draft eligible forward Quentin Musty and 2022 3rd overall (OHL) draft pick Nathan Villeneuve, among others.
