Hockey fans are always looking for something to cheer about.
How about Rogers Hometown Hockey - with a twist?
With the traditional large gatherings that accompany the community based celebrations of hockey currently on ice (pardon the pun!), the folks behind the initiative have come up with a COVID-compliant alternative.
In what appears to be a somewhat similar initiative to the incorporation of the fans at home that accompanied the broadcasts of the World Junior Hockey Championships this past Holiday Season, Rogers and Sportsnet are inviting fans to join the Hockey Night in Canada family in a couple of new endeavours.
Cheer on your favourite team alongside Ron MacLean, Tara Sloan and NHL alumni simply by entering a draw via Sportsnet.ca/HometownHockey.
Families are encouraged to display their community pride and avail themselves to prize giveaways, a hot stove question and answer session, and plenty more.
Additionally, the group has unveiled the Team Rogers Training Camp, an opportunity to complete a live or on demand workout with the likes of Connor McDavid, Bo Horvat, Mark Scheifele and tennis star Bianca Andreescu.
Whether a beginner or an intermediate, or simply a family wishing to stay active, Canadians are sure to find a workout that suits their own particular athletic needs.
To register, free of charge, simply logon to Rogers.com/TeamRogers and reserve your place.
