1. How long have you been involved in sports?
As long as I can remember.

2. What is your most memorable moment in sport?
Don’t have a particular one.

3. What is your most embarrassing moment in sport?
When my shorts fell down in the middle of a basketball game.

4. What is the best part about playing sports at Laurentian University?

The friendships you develop with your team mates (and an opportunity to compete at a sport I love).

5. What is a typical game-day like for you, starting when you wake up?
Wake up at 7:30 (depending of the day) attend class from 9:30 to about 3:30, and then attend practice (4:30-6:30 or 6:30 to 8:30) between classes either catch up on reading or have individual shoot or game tape analysis. Come home after practice make dinner watch a TV show call my parents and then bed time.

6. Are you superstitious in regards to sports? If so, how so?
I am not an extremely superstitious person but I do have a couple things I do instinctively before every game, I knock on the basketball court every time I play, I tie my right ankle brace and shoe before left one and I eat one granola bar at half time of every game.

7. What is your favorite pre-game meal? 
A garden salad and a chicken Caesar wrap.

8. You love basketball because…
It is an unpredictable fast paced competitive environment, where individual talent is appreciated but teamwork and dedication to hard work as equally as important. There is a balance of skill and hard work and when a team acquires that balance it is a beautiful game to watch.

9. What is the best advice you have ever received?
Do it because you love it.

10. What advice would you give a young basketball player?
Enjoy every moment.

11. If you could change one thing about basketball it would be?
I would make a 4 point line.

12. Do you have any other talents?
To many to tell.

13. What do you enjoy on off-days? Going to the movies, watching TV, hanging out with friends, napping…

14. If you could witness one moment in history, it would be?
I would have loved to witness the I have a dream speech by Martin Luther King, or the breaking of the Berlin wall.

15. Who has influenced your sporting career the most?
My father Norman Roberts.

Playing in the regional finals with my high school the Mowat Mustangs.
 

3. What is your most embarrassing moment in sport?
Doing the splits in the regional final.
 

4. What is the best part about playing sports at Laurentian University?
The atmosphere.
 

5. What is a typical game-day like for you, starting when you wake up?
Take care of regular day to day things and try to stay relaxed.

6. Are you superstitious in regards to sports? If so, how so?
No.

Cereal, fruit, and a chicken sandwich.

I love basketball because it affords me the opportunity to compete at something I enjoy.

9. What is the best advice you have ever received?
Be yourself.

10. What advice would you give a young basketball player?
I would tell a young basketball player to make sure to have fun and not take it too seriously. 

11. If you could change one thing about basketball it would be?
I wouldn’t change anything.

12. Do you have any other talents?
I can wiggle my ears.

13. What do you enjoy on off-days?
I like hanging out with friends and watching movies on off days.

14. If you could witness one moment in history, it would be?
If I could witness any moment in history I would watch the construction of the great pyramids in Egypt.

 15. Who has influenced your sporting career the most?
My parents have been the most influential people in my sporting career.
