1. How long have you been involved in sports? 15 years

 

2. What is your most memorable moment in sport? Winning a silver medal at the 2007 OUA Championships

 

3. What is your most embarrassing moment in sport? Slipping on the blocks and pretty much doing a belly flop in to the pool.

 

4. What is the best part about playing sports at Laurentian University? All the different people you get to meet. LU Athletics is a close-knit group.

 

5. What is a typical game-day like for you, starting when you wake up? The first thing I do is eat, usually a bagel of French toast. The rest of the day I try to do as little as possible. I mainly listen to music and stretch. I do not talk much to other people leading up to a race.

 

6. Are you superstitious in regards to sports? If so, how so? I always listen to the same song before I race and I wipe off the starting block the same way before each race. I also stretch a certain way right before I get on the blocks.

 

7. What is your favorite pre-game meal?  Spaghetti and meatballs

 

8. You love swimming becauseÖ Itís one of the hardest sports there is. Being able to do it well makes it an even bigger accomplishments.

 

9. What is the best advice you have ever received?  One bad meet is just that, a bad meet. It doesnít mean anything.

 

10. What advice would you give a young swimmer? Make sure it is still fun. If it isnít fun anymore, itís not worth doing.

 

11. If you could change one thing about swimming it would be? The fact that it does not get the same amount of coverage as other sports

 

12. Do you have any other talents?

 

13. What do you enjoy on off-days? Off-days?  What are those? Sleeping

 

14. If you could witness one moment in history, it would be? Alex Baumann and Victor Davisí swims at the 1984 Olympics . The fall of the Berlin Wall.

 

15. Who has influenced your sporting career the most? My mom and brother.

8. You love skiing becauseÖ Itís skiing, what else is there?

 

9. What is the best advice you have ever received? Just do it, donít worry about it

 

10. What advice would you give a young skiier? Just do it

 

11. If you could change one thing about skiing it would be? Inclusion of skier cross into the racing circuit

 

12. Do you have any other talents? Woodwork

 

13. What do you enjoy on off-days? Going for a walk

 

14. If you could witness one moment in history, it would be? Donít care what has already happened, only what is care what is going to happen in the future

 

15. Who has influenced your sporting career the most? Patti Kitler
