Basketball talent I.D. sessions set for September 2012-08-15 by Randy Pascal
With one full season of amalgamated club basketball play under their collective belts, the Sudbury Youth Basketball
Association in gearing up for season two.
Early next month, the U11 girls will host the "talent identification" sessions, open to any girls born in 2002 and 2003
interested in playing club basketball.
During the first session, there will be information for parents, expanding upon the opportunity and goals of the Sudbury
Youth Basketball Association club program.
Upon completion of the second session, commitments will be made for the formation of a competitive traveling team to
compete in sanctioned Basketball Ontario tournaments and the provincial championships in March 2013.
Interested players require only a positive attitude, strong work ethic and a willingness to learn. Team practices are
scheduled for Wednesdays (6:00 to 7:30 p.m.), Fridays (6:00 to 7:30 p.m.) and Sundays (12:00 to 1:30 p.m.) from September
9th through to the end of March.
