The Moonlight Beach Volleyball courts, installed two years ago for the 2010 Ontario Summer Games, appear to be paying dividends on the local sports scene.

A glut of Sudburians dot the roster of the girls beach volleyball team which will compete at the 2012 Games in Toronto. Joining head coach Kathy Sutton are teammates Emily Sanders and Manon Duhaime, Daniella Trodel and Lisa Romanyszyn and Brittany Reinhardt and Stacey Gregorini.

Alandria Czerkas and Amanda Kring have also been named as alternates. In addition, the Lockerby tandem of Sven Trodel and Hayden Kosmerly have cracked the U18 Team Ontario Beach Volleyball lineup this summer.

The 2012 Ontario Summer Games are set to begin on Thursday, August 16th.
