Young athletes back on track

The next wave of young up and coming track & field talent recently enjoyed the opportunity to put their skill-set to the test as the SCDSB (Sudbury
Catholic District School Board) staged their Junior (grades 3/4) and Intermediate (grades 5/6) meet at Laurentian University.
Eleksa Desjardins (St Francis), Kate Rinaldi (St Christopher) and Ethan Lavallee (St John) were the only student athletes able to
secure two first place ribbons, with the talent level extremely well spread out across the local catholic board.
A total of seven different schools were represented, with 32 events staged in the single day meet. Following is a complete listing of the event winners,
