Earlier this month, Benoit's Martial Arts Xtreme Team competed at the Mid Canada Karate Championships in Sudbury,
with several athletes posting noteworthy results. Following is a recap of the performance of the Benoit contingent:
Nathan Anness - first in kata, second in weapons, third in sparring
Matthew King - third in kata, first in sparring
Collin Barnes - second in kata, second in sparring
Trevor Blanchard - third in kata, second in weapons, first in sparring
Christian Fey - first in kata, second in sparring
Catherine Zhou - second in kata, fourth in weapons
Lauren Santi - third in kata, sixth in sparring
