About SudburySports.com

SudburySports.com has been created with a very simple mandate - to provide as much coverage of local sports as is humanly possible. Given the initial time required to develop contacts with the many teams and associations that exist locally, the launch of the site will focus primarily on hockey, curling, high-school sports, and Laurentian University/Cambrian College athletics at this time.

By the fall of 2004, it is our intention to branch out and include most, if not all, of the other fall/winter sports that continue to prosper locally: swimming, figure skating, ringette, bowling, wrestling, boxing to name but a few.

Soccer, golf, baseball, track & field, slo-pitch, road racing, softball, football and many other sports are on the agenda for the summer of 2004.

I fully expect the site to evolve over time based on the feedback of the Sudbury and area sporting community but look forward to the many challenges and opportunities this new venture offers.
